CONCEPT

The Moon: The Awakening inaugurates REVELATION, a collection by Leonardo Soto dedicated to exploring the moment when that which has remained latent abandons its silence and finds a way to manifest itself.

In this inaugural work, a peacock emerges from the lunar surface like an apparition between the celestial and the earthly. Its presence evokes transformation, renewal, and expansion, establishing a symbolic dialogue between cosmic immensity and organic vitality.

Beyond its figurative representation, the animal becomes an image of that which each individual holds within: a force, an identity, or a possibility waiting to be discovered and revealed.

REVELATION

With this collection, Leonardo Soto expands the language of his renowned illuminated moons to delve into an investigation of essence, memory, and animal symbolism.

Each creature is conceived not only from its form, but also from the qualities it embodies and the meanings it awakens: strength, freedom, protection, intuition, transformation, and rebirth.

The moon remains the visual core and territory of its emergence; a suspended surface where different essences find matter, light, and presence.

LIGHT AND SPACE

Lighting is not an added resource, but an essential dimension of the work.

When illuminated, the moon transforms its presence and establishes a different relationship with the surrounding space and with the viewer. Light acts as sculptural material: it reveals volume, accentuates texture, and deepens the experience of the surface.

The work has been conceived to inhabit two complementary states: the material silence of darkness and the gradual revelation of light.
