This circular mandala is created on canvas stretched over a wooden frame, using oil paint and mixed media. Its composition is built through repeated dragonfly forms arranged in concentric movement, creating rhythm, balance, and a sense of expansion from the center outward.

The mandala is conceived as a visual and symbolic structure in which repetition can guide the viewer into a state of contemplation and meditation. The pink-toned palette alludes to Muladhara, the root chakra, the first chakra in the body’s energy system. Located at the base of the spine, it is associated with safety, security, stability, and grounding in the physical world. It is deeply connected to our basic needs, including shelter, nourishment, financial security, and the feeling of being supported in life.

Through color, texture, repetition, and material, the work explores the relationship between inner strength and emotional sensitivity. The dragonflies suggest movement, transformation, and resilience, while the circular composition creates a meditative space that invites the viewer to return to the center—a place of grounding, support, and connection to life’s essential foundations.

[180
