I created this painting in oil, letting the brushstrokes flow like the tides, I wanted to merge the sky and ocean into a single breath of colour. The painting became a meditation on motion \u2014 a moment where calm and turbulence meet in this luminous blue.<\/p>\n
I felt the pull of the sea that day near Freshfields dunes in Lancashire \u2014 the wind sweeping across the Dunes, the rhythm of waves echoing through the sand. I wanted to capture that restless energy, the way light dissolves into movement. <\/p>\n
