\nThe plants are Bougainvillea, which symbolizes “passion.” I have witnessed how one person\u2019s passion can bring two, three, and even more people together. This beautiful connection resonates just like a “Canon” in music. That is why I named this work “Ka-non (Flower Sound).”
\nI hope people will connect in a grand circle\u2014reflecting the Japanese concept of “En,” which signifies a mysterious fate or a lasting bond.<\/p>\n

\nOn internationally acclaimed Japanese washi paper, natural stones and processed pigments are dissolved in animal glue and diluted with water before painting.
\nThe pigments made with natural stones retain their luster forever.
