I painted this on a round panel.
\nThe plants are Bougainvillea, and its meaning is “passion.” I saw how one person\u2019 s passion brings two, three, and four people together. This beautiful connection is just like a “Canon” in music. That is why I named this work “Ka-non (Flower Sound).”
\nI hope people will connect in a big circle (which also means “fate” or “bond” in Japan).<\/p>\n

\nThe pigments made with natural stones retain their luster forever.
