This series, "The Submerged," was a project for which I volunteered as a tutor for refugee children in the United States. I had the opportunity to live with them, witnessing the difficulties children faced adapting to a new culture or environment, and their resilience in the face of these challenges, as reflected in their drawings and actions.<\/p>\n
"Kid's Things"
\nIdentity. The art of play, a system of signs, language, real life seen through the eyes of a child, where objects are the means of communication, where they exchange, socialize, cooperate, win and lose, imitate, dream, imagine, in dreams, desires and fears, and unveil a possible and imaginary world, where the universality of play teaches them to be themselves.
