For me, it is always the beginning. It gives an edge to something that is taking shape. Gradually, more lines begin to emerge and interact with one another. They close off, creating boundaries, and at the same time, they acknowledge the original limit.<br \/>\nSometimes those lines transform into planes. I feel the pencil disintegrating, leaving only the graphite behind\u2014dust that allows me, with great humility, to shape and model. Only then I begin to let myself be carried away by the space of the paper.<br \/>\nThe lines create a boundary that seems solid to our eye, but when observed under a microscope, it becomes a series of dots\u2014one after another, suspended in space. Nothing is what it seems. Everything holds a certain tension.<br \/>\nGeometric figures suffer by being overly certain.
