\n"The Tower" is a visual representation of an intense personal experience, a blend of existential reflection and emotional turmoil that arose from a life of constant movement and dislocation. As an artist who has been a nomad since leaving her home country, the sensation of time became both an abstract and tangible presence. Living in transient spaces, such as a small hostel room with her dog, the artist felt an overwhelming tension with time itself, both an enemy and an inescapable companion.
\nIn this work, time manifests as a monumental clock, its structure akin to a tower, rising in the barren landscape, ominous and looming. The clock's hands suggest both the relentless forward motion of time and the stillness that traps you when you wish to move forward.
