The figure, contorts in an almost womb-like enclosure suggesting both vulnerability and self-containment, Her vivid and direct eyes, meet the viewer\u2019s gaze, challenging the golden stripes that attempt to obscure her. The diagonal gold leaf lines act as a metaphorical barrier inviting to question about visibility, autonomy and the way identity can be fragmented or masked by societal expectations, cultural patterns or personal boundaries. The dialog between the organic from of the body and the rigid geometry of the stripes creates a layered visual language that speaks to themes of censorship, desire and control.
