Finger painting, glitter throwing, erratic spray painting and paint pouring went into the creation. It is a secret garden within the mind with flowers appearing and disappearing depending on the minds eye and angle. I grew up in a secret garden in Newport Rhode Island featured on HGTV. With this painting I tapped into the whimsical feeling I had growing up surrounded by flowers. The representation is my childhood on canvas. I spent most days in solitude with the flowers, my imagination, feeling and healing through unimaginable trauma while playing in the garden. In the garden there was peace. In the garden there was hope. In the garden I was able to imagine the life I have now created.
