Pegasus's power is not strength, but creative madness… in a flash of genius, with a strike of his hoof… He is the Creator of springs from which Poets, Artists… come to draw their inspiration. (19th century Poetry)

he is generally white,

Pegasus is the main subject of the image. He is depicted with realistic morphology; the name "Pegasus" derives from the same root as a verb and adjective meaning "thick" and "strong," from the Sanskrit "Vedic pājas," signifying "strength" and "power." Mine is corpulent like a draft horse, yet his colors and certain details render him Fantastic.
His coat is primarily white, with darker areas and touches of blue and yellow. He possesses an imposing mane, made of flames and light, extending across his back and head. His eyes are piercing and glow with a blue light. The geometric patterns of 'scale-tattoos' on his body evoke the chimeric, the fabulous phantasmagorical, a sort of spider's web, a sort of exoskeleton—this is what happens here: the "phantas-magical" Pegasus decomposes/recomposes at will to reach the stars, Ad Astra.

The earliest representations of winged horses date from the 19th century BCE, among the Proto-Hittites. It is possible that the myth spread to the Assyrians thereafter, then reached Asia Minor and Greece. Lightning-bearing animals are of Oriental origin, with the horse substituting for the bull. Originally, Pegasus was a winged Bull, hence his corpulence in this work—half-Horse/half-winged Bull, a sort of crossbreed. His tail also conceals the magical numbers of the Fibonacci sequence to bring forth the best creative magic.

The background consists of abstract forms and vivid colors. One sees a light blue sky, clouds, and lightning. Geometric shapes, such as diamonds and circles, are also visible. The ensemble creates a dynamic and mysterious atmosphere in a Fantasy style, with realistic and imaginary elements. The colors are vibrant and contrasting, drawing attention to the Horse and its details. The forms are dynamic and suggest movement.
Commentary on the image:
A blend of realistic and Fantastic elements, "Pegasus" is an impressive creature, both majestic and wild. His mane of fire and piercing eyes give him a mysterious and powerful aspect. The background, with its vivid colors and dynamic forms, reinforces the Fantasy atmosphere.
Graphic and textual elements are arranged randomly, adding a chaotic dimension to the composition.
The Horse may symbolize strength, freedom, or wild nature, and here the Phantasmagorical supernatural or fantastic elements may represent imagination and creativity. The entire work celebrates the Marvelous and Magic. Pop-magic.

"Pégase"-(24×33) : peint/Acryl. – Markers Acryl.
