Using for the first time Raw Sienna which is partly translucent and needs  modelling as you paint, unlike opaque colours. It is also the first painting where I use an elongated form, here, slightly angular, which is positioned at the right hand side at the bottom of the paper. The large empty space to the left is taken up by a broad, dark, Turquoise line, which although balancing the picture in some way, by filling the space. Leaves it overall with a slight imbalance in this unexpected configuration.
