The dryad Tithoria remains close to the tree of which she is the spirit and protector. Dryads are now rarely seen as the world has become loud, cold and dangerous for these spirits who live and act on much longer timelines than we.<\/p>\n
I first laid out the rough composition in acrylic, then build up a layer of rough medium – pumice gel to add the texture that I felt best reflected the woods and permanence that the subject matter represents.
