This painting stands for a modern interpretation of 7 deadly sins having party all together.
\nOn the right corner you can see the Greed wearing bitcoins and willing to roll the dice to try the luck. Behind her there is the Sloth having a cigarette and being a bit distant. The Sloth doesn\u2019t have any motivation, thoughts on mind and neither its gender is clear so you can see 404 error instead of the head. The Sloth doesn\u2019t see any opportunities and ignores everything happening around. In the middle there is a couple having a dance together – the Envy and the Wroth. The artist is using a famous Medusa Gorgon as a prototype of the Envy. She is wearing a virtual reality glasses because she isn\u2019t accepting her own reality and prefers living in illusion. And this is also a protection for her partner not to be turned into the stone. Or to be blinded by anger. According to the artist, envy provokes destructive behavior, that is why these sins come together. The Wroth is represented by the bear which is also a very classic example of wildness in mythology. On the right hand there is the Gluttony serving oysters for the party and wearing a lobster as an accessory on her head. These items are chosen as they represent overconsumption of status symbols. On the left corner you can find the Pride wearing the Faberg\u00e9 egg. The image of the egg was chosen as a symbol of Russian aristocracy. As the prototype of the egg the artist chose the \u201cDanish palaces\u201d made for the Russian imperial family. Moreover, the Faberg\u00e9 egg was chosen as something big and bloated from the outside and very empty on inside. It is a beautiful shell that hides emptiness inside and serves as a barrier from society. And in the foreground there is the Lust crawling in a candid pose and wearing a sensual mask.
