BIOGRAPHY
“Zenakim” is the nickname of photographer Kim Yong-joo, who became interested in flowers by participating in flower-themed project exhibitions, thereby personifying flowers with photos and expressing human life and philosophy.
Rather than using special photography techniques, he reflects his own creative approach and philosophical elements in his photography work. His work is inspired and explored in various fields such as science, philosophy, and religion, and has an aesthetic aspect
It places importance on delivering a clear message. Through Kim’s work, he would like to emphasize that we are all human and precious beings, explore the self, and emphasize the subjectivity as creators.
His work contains a message that explores the boundaries between reality and imagination, dreams and reality, and emphasizes personal growth and subjectivity in life. The specific artwork title, Ilwon Sang, was inspired by a Buddhist concept and represents the world of Kim Yong-ju’s work, which explores the philosophical problem that humans, the universe, and everything are connected as one.

I am deeply interested in meditation, philosophy, and the human experience.
