BIOGRAPHY
I am based in the remote hills of Victoria, Australia. I live with my wife and we share a beautiful little farm. Its been my passion in life to live a sustainable lifestyle as well as have the ability to pursue my passions.
I have always been an illustrator from a very young age and now painting has become an obsession.
Drawing from the natural landscape that surrounds us as well as Australia as a whole, I aim to bring to life that which I consider so spectacular and captivating, which is our environment. I also aim to express the emotions that we feel when we are in such remote and pristine places, how they engage us and how we feel taken away by them. I hope I can share something with the world of what I believe is the true nature of this country, its wildlife and its landscapes.

STATEMENT
As a painter I don’t want landscape art to just mimic what exists in nature.
I want to bring out the emotions that grasp us when we are in those vast and remote places. The way that we feel when we are surrounded by places of absolute beauty. I want that magnificence and that awe inspiring moment to last in a way that we can always reflect upon it, by seeing it in way that is almost surreal and impossible to capture in any other way but in a painting.
