BIOGRAPHY
Udane Juaristi is a basque artist based in Spain. She was born in Azkoitia in 1985.
She studied Fine Arts in Bilbao (UPV) and she took a preparatory stay in Paris (Ecole Nationale Supérieure Des Beaux Arts).
The artist is known as Udatxo, her artistic name.
She learnt different techniques to use them in her work and little by little discovered her own style. Her paintings have a personal and recognizable style. Urban scenes are the main focus of her work. This urban style has been transforming her work, and nowadays she also paints walls and street murals. In fact, the street has always been a source of inspiration for Udane. She creates scenes using the photos that she takes in her walks through the world, giving to this photos life and color by her paintings.
She loves to capture people walking in the street, their movement, color and light in her work. Daily urban scenes.
She has shown her work in different galleries and she made murals in public spaces in different parts of Spain, Germany, France and Morocco.
CV
Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts specializing in Painting at the University of the Basque Country. After a stay at the l’Ëcole Nationale de Beaux Arts in Paris, she studied an airbrushing course at C10 school. After that, she continues showing her work in different galleries and she starts doing mural paintings and street art. About her work we can underline:
