My name is Ares Ryu, a unique artist specializing in One-line portrait drawings. Since October 9, 2021, I have been committed to sharing my artwork consistently, without missing a single day.
‘One-line art’, I capture the essence of various faces, producing artwork that interprets the emotions prevalent in modern individuals. Each piece reflects my take on the intricate emotions encapsulated in the faces of contemporary people.
My artworks consistently revolve around the central theme of the ‘pursuit of happiness.’ Through simple yet profound reflections on our existence and the meaning of life, each creation acts as a visual talisman, gently reminding viewers of the profound reasons behind our collective pursuit of happiness.

STATEMENT
A person’s face draws a face in a single line because they think about how they have lived and how they are living, that is, that is, they contain life.
It is ‘pursuing one’s happiness’ to derive the cause of everyone’s behavior, but the same daily life to be happy is a difficult day.
For modern people who have forgotten the purpose of being happy, my paintings are meant for each element, hoping to function like amulets.
Eye heart means to see the goal of life, smile emoji means “always don’t lose your smile”, crown means “weight of life”, etc
Each piece attempts to capture the truth that is overlooked within us and invites us to discover moments of hope and meditation that arise from the depths of the self in the constant search for happiness.
