BIOGRAPHY
I am a self-taught New Zealand born artist working with acrylic on canvas works. I work with subject matter that I care about and would like to examine further. This process includes painting a view of nature that expresses its essence; colour, form and the light that plays on it.
New Zealand’s bush, native flora and botanical gardens have been favourite themes of mine for 25 years. I endeavour to highlight the vibrancy and distinctiveness of these natural environments in my artwork.

STATEMENT
I have always had a passion for growing plants and trees and creating gardens along with enjoying our beautiful native bush in New Zealand.
It was only natural that when I started painting, trees, plants and the New Zealand bush became the main subject matter for my art work.
