BIOGRAPHY
I’m Raquel, I was born in Cartagena, in the South of Spain, and I think I always painted as part of my everyday, since I was a child. I studied different degrees but none of them related to arts, however I love it. I guess I’ve gotten some influence from Impressionist artists, which are my favourite ones.
I lived in different countries such as Italy, France, Portugal and now Spain getting the taste for their vivid colours, natural shapes and brilliant landscapes…
Colors and sinuous shapes are my vehicle of expression. I’m open to explore new possibilities of reveal through them.

STATEMENT
I’m a self taught contemporary artist, but I would like to define myself as an emotions crafter, using natural shapes and vibrant colours. My goal is to convey emotions that evoke optimism, and calm inviting the viewer to connect with his inner positive energy and transform his visual and emotional daily experience.
