BIOGRAPHY

Olivia “Liv” Ramirez is a Los Angeles-based Painter. She is a graduate of Otis College of Art and Design, Los Angeles. She has an extensive collection of water from around the world. She paints with elements of nature including ocean water, river water, and lakes. All her paintings have a narrative. They are painted with various elements from the earth to create textures and variations. And there is always a push and pull with color for contrast and interest. Her current work is experimenting with abstract and realism. She is inspired by her travels and the natural world.

STATEMENT

I paint abstract paintings informed by the world around me. I mimic shapes, textures, and colors in an atmospheric manner to create depth of interest and play with color contrast, my art always has a push and pull.
