BIOGRAPHY
Monica Adams is an established Australian artist exploring the aesthetics of beauty through drawing and painting. Her work is highly collected throughout Australia, England, Europe, Asia and America.
Supported by a thirty year track record of national and international acclaim at galleries and collections.
Monica graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor degree of fine art honours degree and has been painting and exhibiting full time ever since.

STATEMENT
My work fits into 3 areas Woman, antique patterning and Urban.
Female forms, from the beginning I wanted to create works based on a strong female form. Small to large strong works that say I am woman, I am strong, I am here and I am beauty.
I combine pattern with my figures as well as create abstract pattern works. These represent history, time passed and story.
My art is very layered and textured oil and multi media. X
