BIOGRAPHY
María Laura Irrazabal was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but moved to the interior of Chaco at a young age. Growing up surrounded by the nature and simplicity of the Chaco environment was fundamental to her artistic development and her admiration for natural beauty.
The powerful feminine legacy of her mother, sisters, and grandmothers has been a constant source of inspiration in her art. This legacy has led her to create works where women are the protagonists, exploring their strength, resilience, and intrinsic beauty.
For María Laura, art has been her refuge and a way to understand herself. Through her works, she seeks to explore and express the complexity of emotions and the relationship people have with themselves. Each stroke of her paintings reflects a personal journey, an attempt to capture those introspective moments that define her.
Besides painting, she studied interior design, an experience that has profoundly influenced her work. This has allowed her to understand how inhabited space reflects and affects emotional states, thus enriching her artistic approach.
Her goal is for her art to serve as a mirror for those who view it, promoting greater self-understanding and a deeper connection with their emotions. At the same time, María Laura desires to inspire a more conscious and active appreciation of the environment.
With her works, she not only aims to create visually appealing pieces but also invites the viewer to embark on their own inner journey, appreciating the intrinsic beauty of nature that has accompanied her since childhood.

STATEMENT
I am a contemporary artist from Argentina. For as long as I can remember, art has been my refuge and my way of understanding myself. Through my works, I seek to explore and express the complexity of emotions and the relationship people have with themselves. Every brushstroke of my paintings is a reflection of a personal journey, an attempt to capture those moments of introspection that define me. I strive to create pieces that not only are visually appealing but also invite the viewer to embark on their own inner journey.
In addition to painting, I studied interior design, which has deeply influenced my work. This experience has enriched my approach, allowing me to understand how inhabited space reflects and affects emotional states.
My goal is for my art to serve as a mirror for the viewer, promoting a greater understanding of oneself and a deeper connection with their emotions. At the same time, I wish to inspire a more conscious and active appreciation of the environment.
