BIOGRAPHY
My creativity has found outlets in various ways throughout my life. However, it has always revolved around coloration in one way or another – be it of houses, walls, furniture, and more recently on boards and canvases.
The result is often a memory of a meeting, sometimes involving people and dogs. The nature surrounding my hometown is fantastic and always inspiring – trails, forest edges and outlooks over the lake. These landscapes tend to appear in my process. I enjoy listening to music while working on paintings in my studio where i can look out over the lake.
I really found my own way of being creative in depicting my favourite landscapes when I replaced the brush with the spatula and started experimenting more and more with layers of acrylic paint on boards instead of only on canvas.

STATEMENT
When I create the backgrounds in my paintings, familiar places in my surroundings or people I’ve encountered during walks often appear, and it’s equally enjoyable every time to see what is taking shape.
