BIOGRAPHY
In Germany born and based artist Luzie Schulz invites the viewer to take a closer look to get lost in the details just to find themselves realizing the wonders of nature. For several years she is working to hone her skills in her artstyle. The artworks are becoming bigger meanwhile the details are becoming finer. Set against a pitch-black background some of her works feature a fluorescent effect, whose splendor is accentuated by it’s painted scale.

STATEMENT
Luzie Schulz is putting her images of impressions what she heard, saw or thougt in to her artworks. Our earth is complex and this is what she wants to transfer in her work. The details are everywhere, the beautiful vein structure a leaf has or the shape of a snowflake. It is fascinating to break down the nature into their spare parts and once you start seeing it, it will never stop. Her artworks are built of dots and it’s the amount of hundred thousands of them who let arise the overall picture.
