BIOGRAPHY
My interest in art started at a young age. Painting and drawing was something my family members did often. I remember admiring my sister for her beautiful drawings. My father was even admitted to the ‘Gerrit Rietveld Academie’ in Amsterdam. His memory lives on in all of his sketches, paintings and drawings.
As a cardiac care nurse I work in a high pressured environment, and I often find myself moving fast and rethinking my every move. At 26 years old, I rediscovered how much I loved creating art and how it helps me to calm down and express myself. It is the direct opposite of my job which helps me to keep balance in my life for the past three years.

I find inspiration in everything around me such as the colors of nature, the curiosity about the world of my one year old son and the movements and words of people. Capturing it in my own way.
