BIOGRAPHY

Jimmy McCaffrey is an American abstract artist born in Boston and based in San Francisco’s Mission District. McCaffrey’s focus is pinpointed on releasing the internal energy from his mind and body onto the canvas using both the cosmos, as well as physical representations of modern technology for his aesthetic inspiration. McCaffrey initially began his career as a full-time artist in 2019 when he stepped away from his former profession to manage worsening symptoms of Bipolar Disorder. During that time, Jimmy rediscovered his need to create in order to live a healthy existence and never looked back.
