About Jasmin Weber
Abstract art & installations on pure Belgian linen, finished with a handcrafted wooden frame and bespoke coating; every painting by Jasmin Weber is a one-off and impresses with its craftsmanship.
Jasmin Weber can definitely be mentioned in the same breath as the artists Lee Krasner, Elaine de Kooning, Perle Fine, and Helen Frankenthaler. In the North American Art movement would be Jasmin be the third generation representative. However, JW is not to be found in NY, but in picturesque Kitzbühel; where love has taken her. STATEMENT
Art, painting and expressing what I feel deep inside and perceive in the outside world has been with me since my childhood. There was always a light and a variety of colors as well as a fine-grained energy that affects me, lets me see and feel differently. My paintings are an expression of multidimensionality, I feel our consciousness and existence in countless pigments and colors, matter represents only an insignificance of life for me, energy in all its presence and irrepressible expression is what surrounds us all.
