BIOGRAPHY
Iriana Muñoz is an accomplished modular origami artist originally from Venezuela, with over 20 years of experience. Her journey into the world of origami began at a young age, developing into a practice that blends traditional techniques with modern aesthetics.
Specializing in intricate wall sculptures, Iriana exclusively uses certified, sustainable, high-quality European papers. Her work is deeply inspired by the vibrant colors and textures of nature, bringing to life the energy of the natural world through geometric precision and movement.
Each piece she crafts is an exploration of form, light, and movement, resulting in works that are both visually stunning and environmentally conscious. Her creative journey began in Venezuela, and today, Iriana is based between Costa Rica and Miami, where she continues to push the boundaries of what can be achieved through paper art.
Her work has been exhibited internationally, gaining recognition for its unique fusion of tradition and innovation. Iriana’s art invites viewers to experience the energy and emotion behind every fold, transforming simple materials into dynamic works that resonate with meaning.
