BIOGRAPHY
Florinda Marku is an Albanian contemporary artist and art curator, now based in Italy. Florinda studied Fine Arts at the University of Arts from 2011-2016.
Her focus is based on her everyday life and what surrounds her. People and their diversity attracts her, especially women. Women’s world is an inspiration to many artists, including Florinda. She is focused on depicting their problems, feelings, pain, tragic endings also. Many aspects of life are depicted on her paintings. She mainly refers to the technique of oil on canvas, but whenever she feels to express something more, she uses other mediums/ techniques as well.
