BIOGRAPHY

Originally from Brazil and living in the United States since 2022, Erika Dos found her muse early: the animals whose silent wisdom and vital role in the planet’s balance shaped her artistic voice. She began sketching in childhood and received her first commissions at fourteen, learning on her own through community programs and art magazines. After studying Fashion Design and spending years in strategic roles, a period of illness reconnected her to painting as a path to peace. Now, Erika transforms nature’s intelligence and the emotional presence of wildlife into art that invites viewers to reconnect with the planet and the fragile beauty we share.

STATEMENT

I paint rare and endangered animals within their true habitats. The balance of nature, the singular existence of each being, and the profound impact they have on our planet guide my work. Each piece carries its own story and honors their presence. I hope these paintings never become records of what was lost—and that they inspire people to value wildlife through art, not possession.
