BIOGRAPHY
Born in 1981 and raised in Milan, Elisabetta Pienti studied in Milan as an interpreter before realizing that the only universal language she wanted to express herself with was art.
2017 was pivotal year for the artist, she left Italy to move to New York City.
The city (that hosted her for 7 years) and its vibes, determined her as a full-time artist, and she started painting a very flourishing oil-on-canvas production.
To improve her technique she enrolled at the New York School of the Arts.
In 2021 she felt ready for emerging in the contemporary art scenario and soon started to collaborate with art galleries, art dealers and art promotion associations.
She started to take part to collective exhibitions, art fairs and editorial projects on an international level, selling her work to international private collectors, both in Europe and United States.
Up to now, her works have been physically exhibited in the US (New York and Miami ) and in many European countries: Italy (Rome, Venice, Florence, Milan and Neaples), Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Marbella and Alicante ), Austria (Innsbruck) and Belgium (Brussels).

STATEMENT
My art is all about balance and connections.
The canvas is the perfect place to make my inner reality merge and connect with the outer world.
Through Art my deepest emotions take shape, resulting in a poetic and intense work.
The creative process is based on the use of vivid colors and the energy they unleash, and the way colors blend in results in a blurry and surreal dimension.
Everything I put on the canvas is the output of a process that requires a “stay in the moment” phase, a sort of Self-Therapy to reach an inner balance.
In my artistic dimension there are no rules, no superstructures, no judgement, just freedom of expression where the viewer is free to create his/her strong and personal connection.
