BIOGRAPHY
Cynthia Pérez, originally from Monterrey, Mexico, was born on February 23, 1996. She embarked on her venture, formerly known as “Noir Studio,” in 2019, focusing on illustration. Intrigued by the breadth of artistic expression, Cynthia decided to rename her project “Rouché Studio” in 2022, a name that resonated more deeply with her vision. Identifying herself as a Visual Artist, she envisions her studio as a creative hub for exploring diverse disciplines such as ceramics, digital illustration, painting, industrial design, and interior design.

In 2016, she embarked on initial studies in fashion design, dedicating two years to this pursuit before transitioning to Graphic Design, culminating in her graduation from UANL (Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León). Concurrently, she launched her independent venture, “Rouché Studio,” in 2019, driven by her fascination with the arts and different ways of expression.
Initiating with digital illustration, she debuted her first collection, ARIZONA, affording her the opportunity to participate in a collective exhibition in 2022, held in Monterrey, Nuevo León. Subsequently, in March 2023, she partook in her second collective exhibition alongside peers, exclusively showcasing digital illustration.
November 2023 marked a pivotal moment in her artistic journey as she transitioned to canvas painting, elevating the depth and breadth of her artistic endeavors. By February 2024, she unveiled her latest body of work “TUNDRA -series” at BADA Mexico City, presenting a comprehensive display of her newfound artistic expressions.
STATEMENT
In my artistic exploration, inspiration comes from organic elements and shapes discovered in nature, aiming to elicit a sense of tranquility within the observer.
Embracing imperfections as both beautiful and intrinsic to the human experience, my artworks deliberately carve out a space for flaws, paradoxically resulting in a perfection that exists in its unaltered state.
