Christos Patargias is an abstract artist who was born in Kavala, Greece.
In his early years, he realised that he loved painting, and at the age of ten, he took his first painting lessons and created his first art pieces. As a young adult, he pursued and earned both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Business Statistics while studying abroad in the UK.
Working as a business controller, in the oilfield sector until december 2019, Christos became aware that his chosen career path lay not in spreadsheets but in complex canvases. Mixing acrylics, spray paint and a mixture of brushes and spatulas, Christos develops art known for its soft yet compelling structure.
STATEMENT
I want to express my ideas and my emotions by painting. It doesn’t matter how the paint is put on, as long as something is said.
