Carlos V Garcia (41) Honduran artist, muralist, designer and art curator based in the Cayman Islands.
Own his gallery in the cayman islands where exhibits and showcase local and international artists . His style is a mix influenced by artists such as Da Vinci, Manet, Van Gogh, Basquiat, Diego Velazquez, Vermeer. He is widely recognized for his versatility and handling of various techniques, with a mix of style where he fuses abstract, expressionism, realism, impressionism, also mixed art including installations and sculpture. His paintings are characterized by their deep approach loaded with meanings and experiences of the artist and his perception of reality and his environment with a mix between the melancholy of the past and the passion for the future and the imagination of space as a point of reflection. His unique technical level and style cannot go unnoticed in the art world.

Carlos V. Garcia b. 1984 La Ceiba, Honduras is a self-taught painter, muralist, and designer. His practice centres on large-scale murals, acrylic and mixed-media paintings, he describes his style as ‘abstract realism’. Garcia began his journey as an artist in 2008 and soon after began a career hand-painting t-shirts in his home city. In 2013 he jumped into La Ceiba’s street art scene, creating large-scale, commissioned murals in key cultural sites across the city, and formed Urbano a collective based out of his studio and gallery space. In 2017, upon being commissioned by Morritt’s Resort to create a mural on their grounds and manage their retail shop he relocated to the Cayman Islands. Since then he has worked in the community on many major projects, including creating works for the Kimpton Seafire Resort, Margaritaville, Atlantis Submarines, and Cayman Turtle Centre, along with numerable charitable collaborations with institutions such as the Lighthouse School, the Cayman Boxing Association, and Prospect Primary School. Garcia was the single resident of the Cayman Islands to become a member of the Kaaboo Artist Crew Currently In October 9 2020 , carlos opened his own studio gallery where he enjoys showing his most recent works. Carlos has recently taken part in doing one of the biggest murals in the cayman islands. Located in the heart of 7mile beach inside of the underpass you can find a beautiful display of Caymans Flora covering an entire area of 5,450 square feet.
This project which he completed in just 5 days is another addition to his incredible work in The Cayman Islands.
