BIOGRAPHY
NASKA is a Russian-born artist based in the United States. Raised in a family of artists, she absorbed a deep love for painting from an early age. After years of studying fine art, she pursued a career in graphic design, until her move to the U.S. in 2023 became a turning point. Experiencing immigration, distance from family, and motherhood inspired her to return to painting and speak through it. Over the past two years, NASKA has developed her own visual language and created several cohesive series that have resonated with collectors and audiences alike.

STATEMENT
In my work, I explore the feeling of being shattered and slowly pieced together again — a reflection of my experience of emigration and transformation. Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, I embrace the idea that we don’t hide our cracks but honor them with gold, finding beauty in our own mended stories.
