BIOGRAPHY
Anamar Wright was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1992. Actress and Visual Artist. her visual work is mainly two-dimensional drawings made from various techniques that go from ink through asphalt paint, embroidery or oil pastel. She create antropomorphic characters and abstract shapes that dialogue and coexist in “not places” without noticing each other presence. Plots, stains, gestures, writing, modulated lines and fragmented bodies appear constantly in her personal search of a language that expresses the impact on the senses of vivid sensations and experiences.

Studied for Visual Arts Teacher in I.S.S.A. (Instituto Superior de Arte Santa Ana) in Buenos Aires
She also has studies of Set Design (E.M.A.D. Escuela Metropolitana de Arte Dramático), Art Direction (I.S.A. Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colon), Artistic Make-Up, Special Effects (Alex Mathews Studio).
Her work was exhibited in Buenos Aires in the Museo de Esculturas Luis Perlotti, Galería de la Fundación Bollini, Casa de la Juventud de San Isidro y Galería Azulay.
STATEMENT
My name is Ana Margarita Wright. Since I was a child I used to write and draw. Through the years both expressions became a way to survive. I never have a previous idea of what I want to graph. I turn to papel or canvas with a need to breath. Trying to get to know my existance. Trying to remain in “me”.
I am interest in recovering my dreams, search for other perceptions of time and space in the two-dimensional format, constantly asking myself about the place as individual-“woman”-social-human being in the world.
