Alaz’s practice extends beyond canvas into lifestyle and luxury collaborations, re�lecting her

of emotional complexity, rebirth, and the interplay of light and shadow.
In 2025, Alaz is opening her new art studio in Miami, establishing a base to expand her
international presence. With upcoming projects at Faena Forum, The Standard Hotel Miami,
and participation in major art fairs including Red Dot Miami and Marbella Art Fair 2026, her
trajectory reFlects both creative innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.

STATEMENT

My artistic journey is guided by passion—the passion I feel for life, for love, and for transformation. Each canvas is a reflection of how I wish to see the world: alive with rhythm, layered with contrasts, and illuminated by color. Through abstraction and geometry, I seek to transform chaos into harmony, and silence into vibration.

My works are infused with personal emotion yet shaped through a universal lens. Love, fear, sadness, joy, devotion, and rebirth all find their place in my practice. Each painting is both a struggle and a liberation: moments when I cannot touch the brush for days are followed by moments when creation pours out like a flood, carrying with it everything that was once heavy. In this way, painting becomes not only a process of artmaking but also a process of renewal, of becoming a new self again and again.

In recent years, my practice has also been enriched by mythology and philosophy. Inspired by Greek myths and timeless stories of devotion, music, and nature, I explore how these archetypal narratives can be reimagined in a contemporary abstract language. I am fascinated by the rhythm of forms, the tension of opposites—light and shadow, fullness and emptiness, warmth and coldness—and how their interplay creates a visual resonance that mirrors the complexity of human existence.

For me, painting is both silence and expression. When I remain silent, my brush strokes soften; when words are no longer sufficient, the canvas becomes my voice. I write when I am exhausted, I paint when words fall short. Both exist in my body and soul as one inseparable entity—poetry and painting intertwining to create a new rhythm, a new reality.

Ultimately, my work is an ongoing dialogue between emotion and structure, intuition and form. It is my way of giving shape to the intangible, of making visible the energy of life itself.
