About Me

The official launch of Desde el Aire (From the Air) took place on November 29, 2025, in Narbona, Punta del Este, Uruguay. The event was attended by prominent guests from the art world, business leaders, and various media outlets.Since then, this new series, declared of Departmental Interest by the Municipality of Maldonado (Uruguay), has been featured in articles and interviews in the country’s leading print, television, and radio media.

In December 2025, Desde el Aire was presented during the prestigious Art Basel Miami week at the Aqua Art Miami fair in Miami, USA, where Mikael also created a special work for the Faena Hotel Miami Beach. In January 2026, the series was exhibited in Palm Beach, USA. On February 15, 2026, the series was presented in José Ignacio, Uruguay, at a vernissage held at the Kemay Hotel, with an audience of both national and international visitors.

Uruguayan visual artist, musician, pilot, producer, and telecommunications professional: Mikael Boudakian’s work is nourished by a multifaceted and uncommon profile.

He began drawing and painting at the age of three, and at seven he began studying drawing, pastels, and oils with Edgardo Cárgias. In 2015, he continued his studies at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Montevideo, honing his skills under the renowned painter Luis Melo. During 2024 and 2025, he took his plein air practice to art capitals such as Paris, Madrid, and Venice, as well as to Mexico and Brazil, broadening his perspective on landscape and color.
