Traffic Jam in Times Square

Layers of prismatic color were built up then sanded back to reveal patterns and color relationships that can not be achieved with intention. The taxi cab and Times Square sign collage provides some whimsy and helps move the eye around the surface. The sizes of each "space" are influenced by fibonacci ratios.
