The Depths

It is so interesting how some paintings come about. This one started with a clear vision and an expectation of how it would look in the end, but was admittedly a bit of an experiment. It turned out very different from how I planned, but once I let go of my expectation of what I thought it would be, I see a lot in it and really like it. I think there’s a life lesson in there somewhere.
