Shujaa

SHUJAA, means WARRIOR in Swahili. This piece was an opportunity to paint and express who Sudan was. An ambassador for his species and many other endangered species. A warrior in his own right to live and survive as long as he did. The Maasai people in Kenya are known for producing some of the fiercest warriors, known for their bravery and strength. If you look close enough you will notice SHUJAA spelt out in traditional Maasai warrior attire.
