Serafín

The piece combines painting and wood carving, it's made entirely by hand with different artistic techniques. It's made from the same board, creating and cutting the shapes manually.

Depicts a female guardian angel, who spreads her wing before the viewer, her body made of stone symbolizes the enduring and eternal, cracks and plants cover it as a sign of the passage of time. A rose window accompanies it, in allusion to the sacred, creating as a whole a powerful and mystical image that alludes to the very nature of the work.

The final interpretation of the piece is free, letting everyone see their own guardian angel reflected in it.
