The artwork represents a figure of a child posing and sitting.
The young child holds a large object between him and seems to be in dialogue with an external world which puts him in conditions of self-protection; there is a sort of melancholy that pervades his face but the scenographic effect that is created is highlighted by those cuts of color around his figure that create a moment of playfulness; There is a search for the genuineness of the soul so as not to be trivially repetitive and the young man seeks the reason for things within himself by scrutinizing the unknown. Even if the aspect of the picture appears theatrical and mysterious, there is a sense of reality that takes stable possession within the work and likewise offers space for creativity and a sort of openness in expectations.
