The origin of this Kanji character is a hieroglyphic character in the shape of a crescent moon. The moon has long been used in calendars and looked up by many people as an object of faith. I created this work with deep feelings for the moon.
The paper is Chinese Xuan paper. I use ink and brushes made in Japan and China respectively.
