Love´s Death

I´m always trying to go out of my comfort zone, but this painting is one of a kind. As most of my paintings are done with bright and happy colors I wanted to make something dark and ugly. If I made the background too dark you couldn’t see the main stain so it turned out to be a dark pink. I usually work with very small brushes but this time I used thick ones and powder paint that I never had used. It turned out to be a relief and lots of fun.

I see a big face crying but if you play attention there are a lot of smaller figures as well. For the name it looked like something about love and the dark side of it gave me the name. I use three languages for the naming, and Love´s Death in English is good because it means both the love is death and the death of the love.

Surprisingly for me is one of the paintings that people likes the most so hurry up and buy it. It will fly soon enough.
