L’arche (the ark)

Abstract artwork in acrylic on linen canvas, streached on a chassis. Done mainly with a knife with a reduced range of colors. Contrast of colors and material between what could be described as sky, based on colored grays, deposited then scraped with a spatula and this vault or ark worked in an expressionist way by overlapping touches with a knife, thus creating a duality of texture in the artwork.

A layer of epoxy resin is applied to the canvas for an ultra-shiny effect. Hanging system provided. The edges of the table are painted for an aesthetic rendering.
