When painting this piece, I tried to capture the vastness and placidity of ‘the nature’ of Lake Blanche and translate it into my own impressionistic colors and description.
By depicting the ‘nature’, I used the overall structure of the Lake Blanche to express and convey the beauty of tranquility and ever-stillness of the place that brought about a sense of awe when I first saw the place.
But added to the overall structure, I filled the rest with my authentic impressions of the place by building on fragments of unique interpretation of colors, shapes and textures.
