The character for "heart" is a hieroglyphic character depicting the shape of the heart. People in the past believed that human intellect, emotion, intention, and deeds, are the effects of the heart. We should cherish our hearts and refine our unwavering minds.
I express the beauty of the fusion between intentionally drawn lines and unintentionally smudged ink.
The paper is Chinese Xuan paper. I use ink and brushes made in Japan and China respectively.
