Growing

In the painting ‘Growing’ special textures were created by using swamp lime and chalk. These textures have similarity to the structures of a leaf. The green color is also reminiscent of the plant world. Nature can serve as a model here. If external conditions such as food, light, soil are given, the plant grows. It does not let harmful beliefs or an inner critical voice stop it from growing. This ability one can find also in us, as human beings. If we try to satisfy our needs as best as we can and surround ourselves with positivity, we are able to grow.
